The City of McAllen crafted a diverse set of sports facilities from the ground up to host your upcoming event. The facilities and staff are 100% dedicated to youth sporting events.
The McAllen Convention Center is a 174,000-square-foot (16,200 m2) multi-purpose convention center with a seating capacity of 3,500 which hosts local, national, and international sporting events. |
McAllen Convention Center
This nine-field, multi-use facility includes a championship field and has hosted soccer, football, rugby, and ultimate frisby tournaments. Amenities include a lighted fields, natural grass, water features and multipurpose meeting rooms for coaches and officials. |
McAllen Youth Sports Park
Featuring 6 dedicated girl’s fastpitch fields, McAllen’s newest sports facility is open for tournament play. Amenities include lighted fields, bullpin areas and family-friendly concession and restroom facilities. |
Municipal Girls Softball Complex
Serving as the home course for approximately twenty-two annual tournaments, including all four LPGA’s Futures Tour stops and is now the home course for seventeen Winter Texan Leagues. It’s Wednesday Sundowner accounted for a record 1,784 participants. |
Palmview Golf Course
Open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to dusk, the Green Jay Disc Golf Facility was debuted in 2016 and features an 18-hole course ranging between 6,641ft – 8,786ft depending on your handicap. |
